Bleh

My Kobo broke. I think I rolled on it or something, because the screen looks like it was hit by an impact, and now it's broken and I can't read anything on it.

Of course this happens now. Of course.

At least I finally got my tax return money. So there is some joy in things. But it's not like I can spend it on anything I want. Stupid lack of job...

*hugs*

Do you want a Touch, or a Vox? What colour?

Seems like the first thing to go on laptop-like devices is the screen, but I don't see any replacement parts on eBay. ...not that a hypothetical replacement would be easy in the first place. Just reading an FAQ on replacing laptop screens gives me a headache.

It's really easy to mess up repairing electronics. For instance, my PSP joystick still pulls to the right even though I'm on my second replacement.
Have you ever fiddled around with stuff like that?
