Pain: The Musical

So, somehow, the pain from my head has migrated to the left side of my chest. It hurts when I breathe, bend, or even blink wrong. It hurts inside my chest and near my back as well. It's affecting my appetite, and it also gives me a nice case of nausea as well. I've also discovered that my left hand and arm are sore, but it's a pinprick compared to the pain in my chest. I had a moment of bliss this morning when I didn't feel any pain at all, but it was quashed when I bent over, and it came back.

I've ruled out heart attack, because it's too far left, and I've never heard of a heart attack lasting two days. My mother speculated that, due to family history, it's probably a cist in my breast, but I have doubts, because it feels deeper than that, like it's muscle pain rather than breast pain.

Sometimes the pain is so bad I just want to call an ambulance. Most of the time it's bearable. But I'm not enjoying the whole "in constant pain for more than a day" thing. I hesitate seeing a doctor because I know what they'll say: "Take some Advil and come back if it persists." But then, I worry that if I don't go, I'll end up missing something, and that could be a bad thing.

Right now I feel light-headed and sick, but that's because I didn't have breakfast and washed the floors, so what was I expecting, hah?

Whatever. If anything happens, I'll keep you posted.
