1. Was probably looking for ANY EXCUSE TO LEAVE but couldn't find any until Aang came along.
2. Makes it his secret mission to shit-disturb Sokka ANY CHANCE HE GETS.
3. Goes on personal little exploration-missions whenever he's off-screen, so epic that they could never be shown because they WOULD TAKE OVER THE WHOLE PLOT.

LOL. I love it. Especially #3! The secret adventures of Momo -- like, he'd be indirectly responsible for all the shit that goes down. (Azula's takeover of Ba Sing Se, how the sand benders got their idea to kidnap Appa, Katara and Aang getting together...ect.)

See, that's even better than I imagined - Momo the Puppetmaster, the one cog in the entire machine of the show that, unseen, makes everything work out. AWESOME!
