Netbook update

Writing on it from outside =D

This is definitely going to be one of those tools used primarily for writing and not much else. Because I couldn't find a product key for Windows, I lack access to Word, so I had to convert most of my documents to a fancy notepad that doesn't seem to need the key for it to work. And yes, before you ask, I did look up about forty keys and they all weren't valid for me. The Fancy Notepad thingie words as well as Word, so it's not too much of a loss.

One thing that annoys me is that I can't change the wallpaper - it won't let me! But I also have a built in web-cam now, so if you guys ever want to talk to me via video, now I can do it!

Essentially, this isn't going to replace my laptop. I still love my slow laptop to bits and that won't change anything. But it's nice to have a small netbook to bring with me places that I can use without the bulk. So, yeah. It has some issues, but all in all, it's pretty neat.

That's your boring post for the day from me.

For a free Word Processor program you could get OpenOffice.org.

I have OpenOffice, but I hardly ever use it. It's buggier than the Everglades. I've had it eat random words, eat half a file, screw up formatting, etc. =/

Dude. Get this. I don't have MSWord, either, but IMO this program kind of kicks its ass for just plain old fanfic writing.
