I dunno if you know some of them, but there is a few artist that work in a very liny style. Lots of liht lines creating shadows. Nothing really compact, just light drawings. I think it's a style that works well for you, as this drawing proves. The guy that does megatokyo also uses this type of style.

I love ink art. I think it's the neatest type of artwork. The artist who illustrates the 12 kingdoms novels has amazing ink art, too.

I love drawing in pen, too, so I suppose that helps =P.
