DORK

You know, no matter how many times I watch Avatar over and over again, I always manage to forget about just how huge a dork Zuko is in the first season.

It's understandable, right? I mean, by the finale, Zuko is this badass who totally knows who he is. But Angry Ponytail Zuko? He has no fucking clue, and he's such a huge fucking dork about it.

I mean, okay, just look:

How does one establish that "big glowing light" equals "Avatar"? (granted, he was right, but still). In any case, he seems somewhat badass here, all SRS BZNS about moving on.

Until he has a temper tantrum.

*cue dramatic dork music*

He ALMOST makes it out of his dorkiness...

...no, spoke too soon.

So next he makes us think that he's all important and badass with his armour and whatnot.

And he makes a show of being a huge dick.

And just when we think he's actually starting to look a little like a real villain...

THIS happens...

Uh, yeah, so much for that...

And then he gets upped by a twelve-year-old.

I love how his men just watch.

Not once, mind you.

Not twice, either.

BUT THREE FUCKING TIMES.

FAIL.

And this is just from the first two episodes. If I were to make a whole post about his dorkery, I would run out of room!

He thinks he's bad at being good, but he's really worse at being bad. XD

Hahaha, he's even more of a dweeb as a good guy though. "Silver sandwich," anyone?

He really IS worse at being bad, seriously. He thinks that yelling, throwing temper tantrums, yelling at Iroh, not participating in music night, and storming around alot equals evil.

I think his dweebery is better suited as good, though. It's fucking adorable.
