A frivilous distraction from real topics

I need a haircut. The back layers are getting long - like, mullet-long - and it's bothering me. The thing is, I'm set in my head that I want a ponytail, so if I got my hair cut, I would have to cut all of it.

Unless I went to a cheap salon and just got the back done, which would mean no more mullet but having to wait much longer for a ponytail.

I want my hair to look nice while growing out, but I want things to be easier once it does, too.

Or should I give up the ponytail thing since I lack patience and get my usual crop-cut?

Thoughts?

Well, I know you're Canadian, but you should get rid of the mullet. (Just kidding about the Canadian part.) Everything else is up to you.

I think it's worth it to try it out. You can always cut it later. I know the awkward stage sucks though. Have you considered a bandanna or something to hold the hair out of your face in the meantime?

I say keep it long and find amusing ways to tie it to prevent mullet.

I hate the awkward stage. I keep my hair around breast-length these days, but growing it out properly took a while... now I'm hesitant to cut it short, knowing it would take forever to get it back this way if I wanted to.

Let's go get your hair cut this weekend!

I like your hair short but what I'd suggest is shorter layers on top so it grows better into a long length if you want it long. But, I prefer it short on you. XD

Whichever option is easiest for you?
