Writer's Block: Mark my words

Cake. Lots of it. Especially pound cake. Dammit, that shit is the reason I am still alive.

And dogs. Dogs for sure.

But not cake shaped like a dog. I could never eat that.

If I could write an adventure story about a dog that loves to eat cake, that could be my lasting mark on the world. Of course, as a result, I could end up making an entire generation of canines diabetic...uh...

Okay, seriously, it's writing, but I don't think it's going to leave a mark or make me famous or anything. I know I'm the world's flavour of the month, if at all. But that doesn't stop me from having a blast in the meantime.

Oh, and probably caster13, but that's selfish.

This is grim, but I'm wondering if stealing the animals from the shelter is a good idea?

Basically, Newmarket's Humane Society is overrun with ringworm infestations, and as such they reported that they had to put down hundreds of animals. As a result, 15 animals were stolen from the shelter.

I'm on the fence, dudes. I totally understand, and was close to tears when heard of this story - it's horrible and devastating. Newmarket also has a terrible rep when it comes to the care of their animals. But...I don't think they would go to such extreme measures if it wasn't mandatory, and if the animals stolen were infected without a cause for a cure...wouldn't that spell trouble later?

I'm torn. And really sad.
