I had a dream last night that I bought myself a guitar and I was instantly perfect at it. Like, to the tee. Why am I so arrogant?

I also had a dream about Avatar (something about Aang and Zuko, but no slash), but I forget now.

Sleep is awesome.

I feel creative today, but have no outlet in which to indulge in it (read: I left my Neo at home).

My new music teacher speaks like everything is a question? And she always touches my fingers, which pisses me off? I already miss Tiffany, like, alot?

I'm also in a spendy mood, but cannot cash my paycheque until tomorrow. Bleh.

I've put on some weight recently, and am teetering very close to the line that I have drawn for myself. I must correct this immediately, I find, or else I'll soon become the Blob and eat customers for sustenance.

I keep trying to wear my teethguard at night to stop me from grinding my teeth while I sleep, but in the morning, I either find it under my pillow or neatly placed in its case (closed up and all). The former I can understand, but why can't I remember doing the latter? It's so bizarre.

I wish I wasn't so mediocre. But then, I lack any real ambition to correct that, so I suppose it's my lot in life.

I'm so, so sore.

SO sore.

And I have piano tonight.

I'm loving this fucked up weather shit. First we have a really nice winter with lots of snow, and now we're having a nice cool spring and what looks to be a cool summer.

My piano teacher, upon realising that I pound the keys, told me to picture the piano as a puppy. "Do you want to poke the puppy hard, and hurt the puppy? Or do you want to caress the puppy and make it happy?" DAMN YOU PSYCHIC TIFFANY!!!

PS. I got sunburned without knowing it on Sunday at B&H. Oops. Also, WTF NO DUCKIE RACE??? I was ONE NUMBER AWAY FROM WINNING THE DRAW!!!!!!!! My luck = SHIT!!

I love it when they make pop songs into instrumental suites. I especially love Beatles renditions.

I think, right now, I like playing flute more than the piano. But mostly because it's less work. Too bad I get so lightheaded so fast.

I'm starting to think I have that SAD thing.

Yesterday I was so fucking pissed off at everyone, and then I became gloomy and depressed. And it was raining and dark yesterday.

Today I feel optimistic, okay about my job and (moderately) less hating towards people. And it's sunny and warm.

WTF.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that tomorrow morning I start piano again with a new teacher. Let's hope she knows how to laugh, shall we?

I was unaware that Anime North was this week. GROSS!

I managed to get my piano lessons sorted out. Luckily, they were totally nice about it and want me to continue, but with a new teacher. Apparently I made it clear that I'm passionate about piano? You would never know with how often I'm actually seated at one, cussing and screaming at it.

I hate hot weather. Honestly.

Piano sucked last night. So I probably won't be going back. Or, more realistically, I won't be going back to that teacher; I'll check to see i they have someone else who can teach me. Because that teacher SUCKS.

Set your phasers on sex: I'm going to see the Star Trek movie to night with Terry and Dani. NOBODY SPOIL ME.

I have to work this Sunday, but it's extra money, so whatever. And it's not like, since Monday's a holiday, I'll be working 6 days in a row.

The cat harassed me this morning. I'm not amused.

EDIT: There are gingerkid-cat hairs all over my jeans. WTF?

Last week, they didn't have the adult beginner book, so I had to settle for the late learner book instead. For the past week, I had been practicing with that one, finding it, while probably not difficult, at least a little challenging.

This week, they had the adult book, so now I have to continue my lessons from that one. The problem? It's alot harder than the book I had been practicing all of last week. By the end of last night's lesson, I was so frustrated that I wanted to cry, and my teacher didn't help, because she, too, was getting frustrated with me.

So, yeah. Piano had just gotten alot harder. I dunno how I feel about that. On one side, it's better to not have it so easy that I'm not learning much, but on the other hand, it's really HARD. If only they had had the right book last week. I'm starting to really feel disappointed in this place as a whole.

It's hot today. WTF.
