Excitement at the workplace

I just spent twenty minutes removing old notices that were taped on from the desk, then scrubbing and scraping the desk down with glue remover and a flat-bladed cutting knife. I now reek of lemon chemicals and banana chemicals, from both the glue remover and the hand sanitiser that I tried to use to get rid of the glue remover from my hands.

Now the Open sign is on the fritz, constantly blinking on and off at undetermined intervals. This is the same for the overhead lamp position right above my head, the one in which I use to read.

Work is so glamorous.
