Eating at McDonald's four times a week for more than a year. If I hadn't, none of this stuff with my health would have ever happened, I bet.

I was in denial for a long time, but I can't help but roll my eyes at how naive I was for not admitting it sooner. It still could be one condition or the other (or both), but I bet I would have never had to deal with it if I had just stayed away - or only ate there once a month or some shit.

EVERYONE WHO READS THIS AND WHO DOES THIS: DON'T. Do NOT eat daily at McDonald's. I can't stress enough how harmful it is, unless you eat muffins or something low-fat. Don't do what I did, and fuck around with the high-fat sausage breakfast sandwiches and a million litres of coffee. MODERATION IS BEST.

Does or has anyone on my friends page ever had Biliary Dyskinesia? I'm looking for an honest, first-person perspective on this, because I need to know my options and warnings and stuff I should know before anything else.

I've been doing lots of research on it, since it appears to be the mostly likely condition that I have out of the two. They say that the only cure for it is the removal of the gallbladder, but even then they state that more often than not there is still quite a bit of pain left over. And, apparently, it causes more harm than good, especially if the gallbladder removed is still functioning (they say it should only be removed if it's diseased, really stoned or likely to burst).

So I'm asking generally and keeping this post open in case a drive-by journal happens to see it and have an answer, but...if I'm diagnosed with biliary dyskinesia, what are my options? What do I do? Is there a way to cure it without removing my gallbladder? How do I get myself healthy again?
