What is with the following trends that I keep seeing or hearing? They make no sense!
-"For God Sakes" or "For God's sakes." It's actually "For God's sake," and that is all.
-"Could care less." That's...so not right. It's "Couldn't care less." Saying it means that you care so little that caring any less is impossible!
-"Don't know nothing." "I won't tell nothing." "I dunno nobody." Double negatives make me crazy! And they're everywhere!
-"My Big Fat __ ____", which is taken from the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." People use it everywhere; there was even a reality show called "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding!" isn't that a copyright issue?!
-"That's sick!" Uhm, doesn't sick usually mean it's something bad? It's like when I was young, and people used "wicked", only I seriously think "sick" is ten times worse.
