I bought a new winter coat, but it's pretty big and it's a man's coat. I'm not quite sure what to make of it yet. I mean, it's big enough, and warm enough, but it bunches easily around my purse, and that is annoying...
The holidays really opened up my eyes about alot of things, and I feel so grateful for that. Despite my bad luck with new years, I'm going to look ahead with optimism. I'm gotten rid of alot of baggage, emotionally and figuratively, and I find I'm better for it.
One thing that I did find out that is rather disconcerting is that Terry snores...ALOT. And with GUSTO (I put that in for you, Terry =P). And with my acute hearing, that's a bit of an issue. But then, if it comes down to it, I could always sleep in another room.
In any case, a whole ton of shit went down this year, and while I look back with some regret, I also look back knowing that most of it helped me grow. I lost my sweet doggie Sadie, and I also lost a couple of friends. Weird; I'm still mourning Sadie, but not the friends. I also concluded that friends come and go, and only the ones who really care will stick to my side.
Okay, I've rambled long enough. I suppose I should go work now.
