YES. For BOTH. Especially for CERTAIN TELEVISION SERIES. You just... MISS SO MUCH THE FIRST TIME AROUND. You have to watch/read something AT LEAST TWICE in order to LOVE IT. If you can't watch it more than once, YOU DO NOT LOVE IT OKAY.
I suppose if you watch it so many times that you know every single line of dialogue without prompt and can recite it in your head without ACTUALLY WATCHING IT AT THE SAME TIME, then yes, you need to STOP WATCHING THAT.
