Pick a Pic

Having trouble deciding on a default (again). I really want one that says something about me, that people can easily identify me by it, and when they see the image, they think of me automatically. But I also want something somewhat emotionless, or just neutral, you know?

The few I've narrowed it down to are here:


From the fairytale "East of the Sun, West of the Moon." I really like the idea of a girl being the hero and rescuing the prince, and thought that the girl (she has no name) is a really brave and awesome character.

"East of the Sun, West of the Moon" is such a badass fairy tale. I love it too. I swear, I'm going to make a comic out of it someday. Though, I could include the character as a namesake...

You could! I think "East" was the first fairytale I've ever read that involves a girl rescuing a boy, and because she wanted to, as well. How rare is that?

It's pretty darn rare.

It's actually based on the myth of Cupid and Psyche, so that myth would technically be the first girl-on-a-rescue tale.

Another great exampel of that type of tale is my all time favorite, the Snow Queen. I love it so! But Andersen, the writer, liked to focus on female characters a lot.
