This is from the ATLA artbook. I loved the image of a waterbender (who I'm pretty sure is Katara) using a sword to raise the waters and use it as a lift. I think it's stunning.
Lireal and The Dog (Kibeth) from the Abhorsen Series by Garth Nix. Lirael was always my favourite character (although Sabriel is still fucking awesome), and I loved her story more than anything else. So it's my default (for now).
