DO WANT!
Maye I'm just an old-fashioned romantic, but I'm not bothered by the confirmation of romantic elements. Yeah, I dig a good general story, but I also love a good romance and always have - even when I was single and lonely.
I like the idea of Korra being a "fiery waterbender", and like how she will be the opposite of Aang. I truly wonder what sort of conflicts will arise from that, especially if she has the same relationship with Aang as he did with Roku.
I'm somewhat nose-wrinkly about the mention of "motorcycles and cars", but considering the fact that the first series was already progressing in that direction, it's not that much of a surprise. I just hope they can do it tastefully without diverging too much from the original show.
Also, the anti-bending theme has me nervous. I worry they'll make it into something way too similar to X-Men or something. I just have to hope they know what they're doing.
Also, it looks like they lost the rights to the name "Avatar". I wish James Cameron would stop shoving his cock into all things, seriously.
The end. For now.
