Good and Bad

Good: Piano lessons start on Thursday.

Bad: I have to take the bus there.

Good: I got my SIN card.

Bad: Nimue's surgery to see if she does have cancer is also on Thursday.

Good: mistress_gwen is my co-worker now.

Bad: I'm still paranoid about everything.

Conclusion: I suck, but at least you can depend on that being eternal.

piano is fun. I prefer guitar though. I suck at both in the end, but I look cooler sucking on a guitar.

Guitar breaks my fingers. I like the piano because it's easy and you don't have to tune it as much (you can pay people for that =P).

I find for what it lacks in tuning-user-friendly-ness, the guitar makes up in travel convienience. (have you ever tried to move a piano? I have! It's the mover's bitchiest thing.) Unless you play a electric keyboard. But even those can be pretty big. One of my friends is teaching himself the piano. He's doing pretty good - he can play a bunch of final fantasy songs.

I, too, am I sucker for travel convenience. I think that's why I'm in love with the recorder right now. It's small, easy, pretty, and collapsible.

I taught myself how to play by ear too! the first song I ever learned was from Secret of Mana =P
